Just looking at some S&P charts of 5y history and how we just hit a new high in the S&P just amazes me.
We are up ~45% since COVID, Bonds yields are up, long bonds are down significantly (price wise, bad for banks) RE is softening but prices/sellers not budging.
It seems RE, Stocks & Bonds are really pricing in the next rate cuts from the Fed.
Are there even values anymore for an investor just starting out? I started investing in 2008 (paused a little in 2009 then back in real estate and stocks in 2010) markets acted more reasonable then.
The markets just seem to go up, I know this has been preached since 2016 and on but it’s true but also doesn’t lead to good things.
What’s everyone feeling these days?
