I had been in the hospital for 5 days. I come back to my apartment and all of my belongs were messed with and my front door was unlocked. My wallet was tossed on the ground. I grab my phone in my kitchen check my bank account. I am missing a transaction of 14,000 on Oct 2nd and another transaction of 2.900. I get a police report for the accident. I called my bank saying it was fraud. They had me changing all of my passwords to my accounts and my userID. Then they make an appointment for me to go to the branch. I talk with a branch manager to file the dispute. They make me fill out a affidavit. Then I took it to a notary professional and mailed it out. Will my bank side with me on this fraudulent identity theft? Has anyone else had to fill those out? What was your situation?
