My boss has resigned and it seems my company has decided to change everything because of it, including my employment.
I run the (small) company’s social media, and have done so quite well, but I was recently logged out of everything. I get an email from the person who is apparently taking over my duties and he wants my assets (photos, graphics, etc.)
I have sent several emails to him and higher management essentially asking if I’m still employed and have received absolutely no response.
Where do I go from here? It’s been over a week of this. I initially shared some assets, but I’m now hesitant to do so since this is the only thing that keeps them talking to me. This whole situation is entirely unprofessional and rude. I have heard absolutely nothing from upper management.
The least they can do is actually tell me I’m fired, right? I don’t want to quit and risk any potential unemployment benefits.
