It is said that putting money in a ETF is good low-effort long-horizont tax-efficient investment strategy etc. Fine. Call me patriotic, but I want my money to support local economy, so I've been looking for European ETFs. Bummer - whichever ETF (eurozone or geographically Europe) I've glanced over had no growth in 2y, 5y, 10y span. Am I looking this right? Why is that? European corporate governance is not prioritizing stockholder's interests, or what? Puts my patriotism to question.
