Just wondering if my calculations are correct. I've been wanting to FINALLY understand all these calculations and make sure I am doing them correctly since I am a young investor and just started working at a large Swiss bank. I am excited to earn my checks and put my money to work. So, here is an example. Straight forward for some of you. Just want to make sure it's correct.

$50,000 invested in a t-bill at 5% for 3 months

50,000 X 5% X 1 = $2,500 interest earned annually.

$2,500/12 = $208.00 a month

3 months = $624 of interest earned in 3 months
