So my sister recently left her job and is wondering what the best option is for her old 401k. Currently has 140k in it. I told her that she should roll it into an IRA and invest that way. She is also considering hiring a financial advisor from Edward Jones. I think it would be a waste of money on her part. She just wants an option that will grow at a higher percentage than her old 401k and an option where she won’t have to mess with it. Any ideas from the great minds of Reddit? I would like to suggest some stocks and funds where she can just set it and forget it or where I can help her make adjustments once a year. Any advice is appreciated!
