I thought when market closed at 4pm if the stock closed out of the money the option is expired worthless but the option holder can choose to exercise until 430pm
I sold a pit for amc 4.5 exp 8/11 and was assigned today on 8/12 but amc closed at $5.26 and even at 430pm it is $5.12
So i am confused why it happened otherwise i would have closed it for $1
