Forget about target stock price, which we know analysts are often wrong about. What I’m surprised at is how their EPS and revenue estimates usually come very close to the actual report.
Is this something they do with public data? Or are they using private research data like shipping containers, credit card company info, etc.?
How would you come up with next quarter’s Apple’s earnings numbers, as a concrete example?
