My wife and I have a 1000 dollar monthly car payment. I was against getting this car because we were planning on moving out from our in-laws and getting our home. She persisted on getting it and guaranteed that she was gonna be able to afford it. Now we can’t move out because of the car payment and refinancing it will only drop it like 100- 200 max. We went to get the car appraised and is worth 30000 where as our payoff amount is still 48000 dollars. We we able to pay the car but have no money to save for a house. Any suggestions on what to do
