Hi, we are a couple to be married soon in October. We are wondering if we should talk to a lawyer about signing prenup.
My fiancé has a house (~400k), pretty significant student debt (~300k), some 401k, and no family inheritance.
I also have a house (~450k), no debts, and possible family inheritance (in the future), and ~130k in savings (cash/401k/roth)
We both have ~$150,000/yr earnings, tho this may change in the future.
Is it worth to hire prenup lawyers to draft an agreement? his high student loan is what worries me, and we have different spending habits (he spends more, and worries less about getting into/staying debts :(.. while I like to pay off any debt as soon as possible) I do love him tho aside financial aspects. thanks!
