In 2021, I bought a duplex for $126k; now it is worth $147k according to Zillow. But I do not want anything to do with this house anymore.
Current mortgage: $896
Tenant 1: $900/month (lease ends in December) Tenant 2: $570/month (lease ends in August)
I pay for trash which is $72 quarterly and $240 for water/ sewage quarterly.
The house needs some fixing and deep cleaning because tenants did not take care of the place. I would say everything would cost about $10k to do. I do not want to deal with the stress or hassle with this house any longer. Should I sell it as-is or deed-in-leu of foreclosure. I do not want to deal with fixing up this house and listing it on the market/ waiting months for a potential buyer.
