Why does so many assume that any kind of risk is automarically bad? It's just mathematics, it's also zero sum game. Stop assuming no one knows what they are doing.
Now, when that's out of the way, does anyone know about investing before the curve? And if you do know and use this strategy, could you please enlighten me how you research the companies you invest in?
