So in the backend, banks trade and swap mortgages all the time. Suddenly you're with another institution.
Why can't you do that on the front side?
Party A gets a $250,000 mortgage at 2.5% on their house. Then they sell it to Party B after paying down $100,000.
Party B now takes over the original mortgage and amount remaining, getting $150,000 at 2.5% and either paying cash for the rest of getting a secondary mortgage to make up the difference.
