Hello everyone. I just got a new job making $20.70 an hour and I work about 40 hours a week. My work allows me to take vacations as long as I give sufficient notice (min. 21 days before the trip.) I want to visit Salem, MA in September next year, but I'm trying to figure out how to minimize my spending in order to save more money for the trip. I'm planning on flying from Colorado Springs with my dad and I splitting the cost of airfare. I also want to get a black and grey tattoo from Black Veil Studio and participate in some tours around town.

I am going to save roughly $4,044 for the trip. My breakdown of the trip is as follows:

$1,294 roundtrip flight for Dad and I ($647 per person);

$967 for Residence Inn by Marriott Boston North Shore/Danvers;

$1,680 for tattoo (rough estimate including 20% tip);

$450 for food;

$300 for misc. tours;

Is there anything else I'm missing that I should account for?

Here is a rough estimate of my budget per paycheck (after taxes, 401k, and health insurance premiums):

70.83 (Medical co-pays);

181.19 (Emergency);

270.83 (Roth IRA);

3.02 (Amazon Prime);

1.73 (Disney +);

1.25 (Costco);

101.65 (Early Retirement);

120 (Fun);

110 (Debt - will be paid off next paycheck - 3/30/23);

89.84 (Disney World trip in September 2023) x 8 paychecks;

112.33 (Salem, MA trip) x 18 months = $4043.88;

I haven't shared my other bills due to being infrequent/my parents covering some of my bills. I help take care of my autistic sister, so in exchange I get free rent from my parents and they take care of transportation and food costs. Plus, my job offers me free meals.
