Let's say your employer matched 100% up to 6% biweekly. Is there any benefit to using your employer match for a specific fund/stock while your personal 401k buys different ones? Like are there any leniencies on fees/expense ratios or other mathematical benefits to differentiating the two, or should your employer and employee contributions match in investments and allocations?
