26m and I lost my job recently. I am up and looking for a new job but I feel like I have been “running the rat race” for years now. I got diagnosed with a heart condition a few years ago and credit card debts as well. I had to get a new car because my transmission died in my old Pontiac so adding car payments as well as medical debt makes me feel like I am drowning. My rent and utilities are well over 1500$ a month as well. I want to become financially free… but I don’t even know where to begin. I thought about taking a job into the finance field to learn more. But I don’t know where else to go. Advice? Books? Ideas? All are welcome.
