So I have a confusing scenario here.
I had surgery on 1/9/23
My old insurance expired on 1/1/23
When I went in there, I explicitly told them that my old insurance is expired and gave them my new insurance card.
Well, they billed my old insurance anyway and to my surprise, they paid it. But I am 100% sure my coverage expired.
Doctors office promises me on their end that they didn't bill my old insurance but I'm getting EOB'S and Statements in the mail from them saying otherwise.
Is a charge back coming for me or something?? Someone somewhere has to eventually realize that they paid the bill and i wasn't covered any longer. It's a very large amount of money, over $100k
