I've been living abroad for the past 8 years and have accumulated knowledge from the streets. I live in South Korea and teach English as a freelancer. But still don't have any formal experience or education about things like saving plans or 401k. I am quite frugal and budget my spendings. I don't own a house but rent an apartment, since I am living overseas. The deposits are expensive, but are refunded when we move out. It is honestly not that cheap living in South Korea. My age really hit me hard this year while talking to my friends, many who are in a similar situation. There are similar posts but from at least five years ago. Would opinions have changed? Are there people who are ponder this question too? How much money would be reasonable to have saved by the age of 30? Thanks for the shared opinions (:
