My partner does not have a lot of knowledge/experience about managing finances, and any time I mention loans or investments she thinks it is extremely risky and basically like gambling. She is even opposed to index funds and mortgages.
How can I explain to her that debt isn't always a bad thing, and that careful investments are actually safer than keeping money under your mattress?
