Hi I have already reported this to the police and RBC. I have never given my pin to anyone and wanted some help and advice on what else to do. Last week I go get a massage and also use their ATM to withdraw some cash. I was careful to project my pin and the machine even covers your hand for you. No one was around me and I checked my shoulder. I then put the debit card back in my wallet and grab the paper from the machine. I then go get the massage. I’m at this place for around an hour and leave. 6 days later I realize my debit card alone is missing and the rest of the things in my wallet are fine. I tell the police and bank and they both open an investigation on nov 7. I highly suspect that woman who gave me a massage somehow got a hold of my debit. This is soo confusing to me because I was careful to monitor my things but aside from that I’m up all night wondering how she even got my pin in the first place. It’s not anything easy to guess and now i feel like going to her workplace and confronting her about it in person. Should I do this or let the investigations play out on its own? I’m worried she’s just spending my money. Also am I screwed with RBC for getting frauded like this or they should be able to reimburse my account?
