20% of my paycheck is for health insurance for 2 adults and a kid. I know it's a must have with today's medical bills but I'm really contemplating canceling my insurance and just taking the risk. It just sound insanely high to me just checking if it's the norm. An extra thousand dollars a month would be so life changing at the moment it's very tempting.

Edit: been getting some PM about needing to cut cost. I'm gonna lay this out real quick and someone tell me where to do it at.

Bring home ever 2 months is 2900+ what ever side job I can find though out the month probably adds 150 to 300 a month depending on what I can find.

1250- rent

300- monthly food.

100- 3 cellphones

300- for electric on a CO-OP

300- in gasoline

198- for car insurance

550- for our car payment

We leach off the neighbors wifi and don't pay for any streaming services

Leaves me with roughly 100 give or take 50 that I have been putting in a account for an emergency.

And what ever is left we give to our daughter on the days she wants to eat at school and not take a sandwich.

These are all rough figures I'm not really sure what the exact prices are at the moment. But I'm lucky if I have a few cents left in the bank.

I quit smoking and have had to skip meals to make sure my family eats, canceled my gym membership and carpool to work. I mean we are at the bottom of the barrel. I go to work and come home. Anything extra thing I have someone has given me or they are paying for it.

And I'm out of stuff I'm willing to sale.
