I dont know how my parents did it when I was a kid, but I'm struggling to buy groceries. Even buying the dollar pastas just aren't cutting it for me. I've bought a budget planner; I keep a small savings account; I look for deals; ect.

So #1 I'm just not sure where to shop. I usually go to Walmart because it's the most convenient, but is Marketbasket or Hannaford cheaper in the long run? Amazon? The nearest Aldis is over an hour away from me.

2, is it better to do one big grocery haul, or buy in small amounts as you need it?

3, I would love to get into couponing, but actually have no idea how to get a coupon book. Do I have to sign up online? Is the book just for one store? I just have no idea where to start. I use Groupon but they don't have enough for overall grocery purchases; typically just single savings purchases.

4 I'm struggling the most with dairy products, as I feel like I don't use them quick enough before they expire, so then I'm having to keep buying them over and over.

5 is it cheaper to pay for a meal subscriptions like Hello Fresh, or shop at a store?

I feel like I have so many more questions, but this is the gist of it. I want to eat well, but everything is so expensive. Any advice/tips/tricks are welcome, and very much appreciated! Thank you!
