Yo, new poster. Just today within the past few hours on Bank of America 3500 dollars disappeared from my account and sent through Zelle to someone I've never heard of before. This rightly spooked me, and I've added a ton of security measures to my account
Ie two factor authorization, notifications for damn near everything, disabling my debit, changing username and password; basically everything
My current concerns
How the hell do I get my money back? The transaction is still "pending" and won't let me flag it at all. I expect I can do more if/when it goes through fully
And how do I prevent this again? As, maybe I'm just fucking fooling myself with these added security measures and it'll just leave me in an even worse place. I've been pacing paranoid for the last 3 hours
I'm pretty fucking angry and scared rn but I can't afford to outright disable my account
