So, my mother passed away & I'm being told I need to provide food for the reception. We are struggling to be able to afford the funeral and burial so I am about to lose my mind with the stress of what to provide. Not to mention I have no energy left to buy & prepare food, then transport it to the reception area. When I brought up that I just don't care about the food someone mentioned that you really want people to come & hang out at the reception because that is when the best stories about my Mom will be told so I thought I'd reach out to see if you fellow frugal friends can give me some ideas of food that wouldn't be too expensive and not take a ton of time to prepare. I imagine we are gonna have 75 people or so to feed. Thanks
