We rented a party bus this weekend for a golf trip, and a $450 “20% standard gratuity” was added to our bill.
Apparently the company we rented from “farmed out” the job to another company. The driver, who was great, contacted us this morning and asked if we had sent a tip as he hadn’t received one.
Apparently the limo company did not send him the $450 tip that was added to our bill. Is this illegal? Do we have any recourse to demand a refund from the limo company so we can send it directly to the driver?
