My family and I are wanting to move away from where we live, and I work remotely and can live anywhere in the US. The trouble is, I'm struggling to find what my relocation options are that I can afford.
There are dozens of cost of living calculators where you can enter a "From" and a "To" and it will show you the comparable cost of living. What I'm wanting is to enter "From" and it tells me my options.
Corporate has a policy that moving will result in a compensation adjustment, but they've made it clear that it primarily exists to discourage HQ area staff from leaving the HQ city, which is HCoL. It won't result in LCoL employees getting a pay increase if they move to a higher CoL area.
