With my current demanding job, I've decided I need to live alone. With my salary, I think I can afford to rent a one bed. I wouldn't save much but I can see my salary going up.
I'm aware that an unfurnished place is inconvenient because you need to invest time and money finding, paying for and moving in furniture.
Having no balcony is inconvenient as you don't have easily accessible outdoor space.
I'm looking at one bed apartments and, based on my budget, I think I need to choose between an unfurnished place or one that's furnished but without a balcony.
If I was moving into an unfurnished place, I would have a mattress, a couple lamps, some plants and some dining chairs already. Possibly my IKEA bed frame if I can disassemble and reassemble but I'm not sure how possible that would be.
So I would possibly need to buy tables, storage space like chests of drawers, a bed frame, and a couch(es).
What would other r/frugal-ers do in my situation?
