I don’t know if this is technically frugal or not, but the customer service at T-Mobile is always so sick.
I’m always broke; and having to push out bills and stuff, but T-Mobile is the only company that lets me keep my dignity when I do.
Payment arrangements are easy to set up, and when I have to explain any of the number of ways I’m broke or why my card doesn’t work, they always understand and make it easy on me.
They’re direct, on the phone and on chat, and will tell me look bro, I can let this much go for this long, but then you have to pay this much or else this happens.
All of these corporate companies’ business model is ‘get money fuck everybody’, but I need to have a phone, so whoever is in charge of customer service there puts my broke ass at ease. it’s just nice to not have such a stressful “you didn’t pay your bill” call, or have my service immediately shut off with a $40 fee if I’m late.
