Is it always safer to go with the one covering utilities? I’m currently trying to find an apartment, and found one that’s well below the market rate in the area, but only covers electricity, which I found a bit odd since most apartments where I live cover heat, water & trash, and often times the tenant will pay electricity. Some only cover trash, but I haven’t seen one that only covers electricity. With that being said, do y’all have any advice for which one to prioritize? Considerably lower rent without utilities, or utilities included? The place without utilities covered goes for about $820, while the place with all utilities except for electricity and wifi covered, is going for 1200. Any advice/ insight would be appreciated!
