I rely a lot on the FM (Kroger) coupon for $0.87 milk (half gal) to stock up and freeze. So imagine my annoyance to see that their new half gal coupon is for $1.27. 😐
Eggs too! I used to rely on their $1.27 coupon for 18-ct. It’s now $1.33. This isn’t as bad as the milk increase but it can add up because we eat A. LOT. of eggs. Sigh.
I’m in the Seattle area. What are the price increases like in your area?
Edit: so for extra info - without the coupons, 1gal of milk $3.09, half gal milk $2.19, 18 eggs $2.49
Edit 2: Well now I feel bad for complaining. Your responses do put things into perspective! Inflation sucks for all of us :(
