About as cheap as you can get. I have a TON of real oak flooring, I took a scrap about 4" long, cut a notch in it about 75% thru it and about 3/8" wide.
I was using it for a phone stand, then decided to try it on my new iPad. It ends up perfect for the desktop.
One note: if you make it too long and you fall on it, you might snap your iPad.
Dirt cheap, easy to make.
