During grad-school due to a limited income, I had no option but to live very frugally in terms of grocery shopping... around $100-$150 a month (or less). This meant no meat, or 'extras' outside of basic nutritional needs. Now that I've gotten a higher paying job and I am no longer required to live like I did before, I am trying to determine a good guideline for grocery budget. With inflation on food, I am uncertain of what I should be planning for my grocery budget... I don't want to spend excessively, but also want to be able to 'live' a bit and have fresh produce, balanced diet, full nutrition that isn't rice and beans for every meal.

Thanks for any recommendations!
