Heeya investment people!
I want to invest $50.000 into an overall passive investment strategy, and hold it for +20 years.
I'm okay with the risk involved in a 100% stock portfolio, now that my goal is to hold for so many years.
Now I have two main options for this:
- Robo investor with SoFi
- Doing it myself (!)
The SoFi solution will be based on my risk tolerance, but I feel like I miss some options and influence. I can't really put in my own preferences.
That opens it up for doing it myself. I'm currently thinking about this spread (I'm from the EU, so no Vanguard):
- 35% in iShares Core World ETF
- 15% in iShares Emerging Markets ETF
- 15% in iShares World Value Factor
- 10% in iShares Global Clean Energy ETF
- 10% in iShares Commodity Swab ETF
- 10% in iShares Cybersecurity ETF
- 5% in iShares Gold Trust
I have certain preferences, that's why you don't see a 100% iShares Global Stock Market ETF.
QUESTIONS
- What would you choose, and why would you NOT go with the Robo investor?
- Is there anyone in here who tried SoFi, who would recommend it?
- Is there a third option out there where I can pick preferences, and then it finds the corresponding ETFs?
Stay awesome,
