I'm looking at getting into the market and have some virtual portfolios set up to track certain stocks and indexes as well as a homemade portfolio (thats going as well as you would expect lol). I have usual S&P, nasdaq 100 etc too. Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Class B is performing better than them all so far. I want to dump 500k and forget about it for 3-5 years, I know you're meant to diversify and I am outside of the market, I'm doing propery too, so what am I missing here? Can't I just let Buffets team take care of it. Over the last 20 years (I think) they've averaged out good gains and not a lot of negative years at all. Honestly, I'd be happy with 8% YOY.
