What’s a thing you do to avoid buying something that makes you shake your head at yourself every time you do it?

I looked up how to dry lettuce without a salad spinner.

Tossing it in a pillowcase and twirling it totally works. (But I recommend doing it outside.)

I don’t want to manage a salad spinner with all of its parts to clean. The pillowcase just goes in with the laundry.

I feel so ridiculous standing in the yard, twirling my lettuce in a pillowcase. But it works!
