The title, barring my estranged mother doesn’t burn through what we stand to gain fighting me for her property. She planned for me to take over her house and sell it and divide the profits between my two younger sisters (9 and 18) and myself. Rough estimates we stand to gain 50/60k after paying her debts. I definitely don’t want to just give my 18 year old sister a large chunk of cash in one shot and do not want my mom to have access to the money for the 9 year olds (she was adopted through foster care so she’s pretty well taken care of until she’s 18) can anyone recommend a ideal investment for the youngest sisters portion? I plan to buy my crazy mother out of my 18 year old sisters car so she won’t be able to continue her threats of taking her car away. And maybe guide her into smarter decisions with the remainder (full time student at university unable to work a ton) thank you if you read this far!
