So I’m a student that just moved across the country for Grad school. I had my car shipped for $750.
Besides the abject lack of communication from the driver and being 4 days past set time of delivery, he finally answered his phone and told me my car got into an accident.
I told him to still bring it so I can take pictures and we discuss insurance claim, etc. Thing is, after damaging my car he’s still asking for payment.
Am I wrong to think that this just sounds crazy? How can I pay you for destroying my car. The man insists that he should be paid first then we can discuss insurance and getting me a rental.
What would you do in this situation?
