I decided to use a smart plug to determine how much power my plug-in was consuming.
It uses 2.2 watts. I scheduled it to turn on 12 hours a day, so in 12 hours, it consumes 26.4 Wh. Or in a year, it consumes 9,636 Wh (9.6 kWh).
I pay 12 cents per kWh, so running it 12 hours/day, I spend $1.15 per year (versus spending $2.30 per year running it constantly).
So it's definitely not a savings on electricity, but rather the $3.50/month refill that now can last 2 months each.
(I know there are cheaper alternatives for room fragrance, but my life likes this particular brand, and she can splurge on something little like this.)
