So I just came to a realization that I have salary envy. I'm 26 making 76k(10 months experience) and my friend was making 65(a year and a half experience) he was asking me for help improving his skills and advice since we both work in the same company/field and out of nowhere he got a promotion and will make 96k next year. idk why this bothered me so much but it did and I feel kinda bad for actually getting bothered in the first place. anyone have any advice on how to get over this?
