So right now I am a college student in my last year. I'm dating a guy for a year now and we do have relationship issues like most couples do. He has already bought a home and wanted me to move in with him. I declined because I didn't feel 100% confident and I am kind of old school. I'd like us to get married etc. Shortly after I declined we broke up then got back together. I found out that he asked his best friend to move in with him which covers his HOA less than a week after being broken up. So now that we are back together he has expressed his goal of owning multiple properties. Only issue is that he has used his first time home buyer voucher. He wants to use me to get a second house. I also work in the public sector so I do get benefits for first time home buying. I always dreamed of owning my own home as most people do and right now I'm not in the financial position to do so by myself. I would love to Capitalize on this opportunity but I definitely need financial advice. I DONT want to get screwed especially if the relationship doesn't work out and I would like to make sure things are 50/50. I also realize that he seems to be extremely motivated by money and I'm worried that he's using me to achieve his goal. How can I financially protect myself in this if I do decide to go thru with the process.
