I purchased a few Christmas gifts on amazon during black Friday. The total came to 125.12 cents. Amazon however charged my account 3 separate times for this charge.

I verified with my bank that the charge was done 3 times and not just a graphical error. They told me to call Amazon to sort it out. I did and they explained to me that it was charged 3 separate times because they pinged the purchases to 3 separate distribution centers looking for one that had all the items in stock.

She told me the money was already being refunded from Amazons side, and it would take 7-10 business days to be placed back in my account. I was already annoyed because they took 250 dollars I was expecting to have this week.

Worse though I checked my account again to see if the money had come through yet, and I was charged 2 overdraft fees for each of the 2 additional fake amazon purchases.

I called Amazon and they said the best they can do is credit my account with a 10 dollar gift card for a future purchase. The overdraft fees are 35 dollars a piece.

So all in all, amazon took an additional 250 dollars from my account and im stuck with a 70 dollar fee because of their blunder.

Is there anything I can do about this?
