I am taking a flight from connecticut to Illinois with a layover in Michigan, the reason for this flight is to pick up a vehicle.
Seller won’t take cashiers check and only wants cash.
My question is will I have issues traveling with a little over 13 thousand dollars? I have a receipt from my bank for the money withdrawal and also have a banking app that can prove its money that came from a bank.
I’m just a little worried about civil forfeiture laws regarding traveling with money, do those only apply to cash that can’t be accounted for?
