I recently got a new job and make more than I used to, but I also have to drive about double the miles than I did before. I drive a coupe from '03 and although it's in great shape mechanically, I don't necessarily feel safe in it, and it lacks a lot of the luxuries that I would want.
I've always heard of people saying that you can get a good deal if you buy in cash at the dealership; Is this true? And is the deal significant enough to wait a few months to save up the cash?
