I'm a Polish investor, and the USD has increased in value compared to the PLN by 10% to around 4.10 since I bought US stocks at the start of the year for ~3.7. This is most likely related to the ongoing migrant crisis at the Polish-Belarusian border.

Historically, the USD has very rarely been above 4 PLN and when it has, it was usually a matter of weeks before it dropped down again.

As the dollar gets more expensive, I'm not sure how this should affect my investing strategy.

  • Should I close my current positions at these USD prices and re-enter when it drops again?
  • Or if that's not a good idea—how do I continue to purchase more stocks with the dollar being so expensive right now?

Thanks in advance for any advice!
