The Company I work for occupies an incredibly niche space in the biggest industry in the country and is also privately held.
Recently a behemoth made an eye watering bid to the founders. These are people that said they would never sell, so we’re talking huge numbers. 100% deserved. I always say I feel like they invented the wheel in terms of what they’ve done.
I would’ve been talking about this company years ago but who would listen? Everybody thinks their company is the best or whatever.Besides it was a nonstarter because it was private. But now that I can advise my friends and family to purchase stock, I’m absolutely going to do that… But when is it ethical for me to start those talks?
I’ve recently given investment advice to a number of friends that has been very successful, so I’m confident they will all listen.
