I’m 30 years old and interested in doing the set it and forget it type approach.
What I really mean when I say higher than average risk, is that I don’t want to just put everything in a total market index fund or something similar. I’m fine with some higher risk funds. Maybe this is to just give me some peace of mind in knowing I MIGHT have a slight edge.
I was thinking 40% SP500 index fund, then a good mid-cap index fund and a small-cap index fund.
I’m open to other ideas including any emerging market index funds or international. But would like to stay away from picking individual stocks and such.
