I currently work for a large construction company for their IT. I currently get paid $39,000 a year that includes basic benefits. I also must drive an hour a day to get to and from work.
On Friday, I got offered a job that pays $60,000 a year (W2 and no benefits). I also will be working from home.
Contacted my current employee HR and see if they could bump my pay up to $46,000. I will hear about it on Monday.
I have never made so much money before. Not sure how the new salary without benefits would be.
What do you guys think on the matter?
