Today I bought shares in something that I didn't already have shares in. The brokerage fees were $10, and since owning the shares, the value of the investment went up by $19. So it stands to reason that it should show my P&L being $19, or $10 if it takes into account brokerage costs. But it's showing -$2 dollars. Does anyone have any idea why?
