Hi all, I'm getting a rented apartment for the first time. I need recommendations/tips for living frugally in terms of buying stuff for the kitchen and bedroom.

I prefer functional stuff and good hacks for the kitchen, living, and bedroom. It's all new and exciting for me since I've been looking forward to having a place I can call "home" and I don't want to overspend because of the excitement.
