I hear so much stuff about how this generation is going to have a very hard time with money, how we won't be able to buy a house, how we'll all get buried in debt and how we'll never retire. I don't know how true this is and if any of this is even partially true I want to figure out how I can get around all of this before it's too late so I can live a happy life. Where should I go to learn about this stuff and what should I be doing and what should I be planning on doing in the following years to be able to be financially stable and (hopefully) retire early? I don't care at all about living a fancy life style, I value financial independence and free time over that.
